Your Morning Chuckle

The following was found posted very low on a refrigerator door.

Dear Dogs and Cats:
The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.

The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Racing me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help because I fall faster than you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure your comfort, however. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other, stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out on the other end to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.

For the last time, there is no secret exit from the bathroom! If, by some miracle, I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge in an attempt to open the door. I must exit through the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years - canine/feline attendance is not required.

The proper order for kissing is: Kiss me first, then go smell the other dog or cat's butt. I cannot stress this enough.

Finally, in fairness, dear pets, I have posted the following message on the front door:
TO ALL NON-PET OWNERS WHO VISIT AND LIKE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR PETS:
(1) They live here. You don't. (2) If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. That's why they call it 'fur'-niture. (3) I like my pets a lot better than I like most people. (4) To you, they are animals. To me, they are adopted sons/daughters who are short, hairy, walk on all fours and don't speak clearly.

Monday Morning

It is yet another Monday morning and I am at work. This Monday is extremely difficult due to the fact that the rest of the world is off and I have to work. I would like to have this day to spend it with my honey, but now I am here slaving away. I guess thats the way it goes!!!

On a better note, I had a good weekend and continue to realize how wonderful my man is!!! Life is much better now. I say this as a continuation to a blurb the other day about the frustrations at work. Where work is the same, Chad has helped to make it better. I do believe that this is going to work!!

Bored...

I am sooo bored this morning. I have caught up on all my work and have a few things for next week, but those can wait. Therefore, I am pretty bored and dont have much to do!! I am not complaining because there will be days when I have toooo much to do, so I am just going to enjoy this time to catch up on rest!!

Also, things were cleared up at work, so that has made today better and I can go into the weekend with a clear head. I just now have to apologize to my honey for being such a grump this morning!!!

Revelations 3:8

Revelations 3:8
I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

When God leads you to the edge of the cliff, trust Him fully and let go, only 1 of 2 things will happen, either He'll catch you when you fall, or He'll teach you how to fly! God closes doors no man can open & God opens doors no man can close. Have a blessed day and remember to be a blessing...

The Duck & the Devil.

A little boy was visiting his grandparents on their farm. He was given a
slingshot to play with out in the woods.

He practiced in the woods; but he could never hit the
target. Getting a little discouraged, he headed back home for dinner.
As he was walking back when he saw Grandma's pet duck.
Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in
the head and killed it.
He was shocked and grieved! In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood
pile, only to see his sister watching!
Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing.
After lunch the next day Grandma said, 'Sally, let's wash the
dishes.'
But Sally said, 'Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the
kitchen.'
Then she whispered to him, 'Remember the duck?'
So Johnny did the dishes.
Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing, and
Grandma said, 'I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper.'
Sally just smiled and said, 'Well that's all right because Johnny told
me he wanted to help.'
She whispered again, 'Remember the duck?'
So Sally went fishing and Johnny stayed to help.
After several days of Johnny doing both his chore's and Sally's, he
finally couldn't stand it any longer.
He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed the duck.
Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug and said, 'Sweetheart, I know. You
see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing, but
because I love you, I forgave you.
I was just wondering how long you would let Sally make a slave of you.'
Thought for the day and every day hereafter ... . .
Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done....... and the devil
keeps throwing it up in your face .... . . (lying, cheating, debt, fear,
bad habits, hatred, anger, bitterness, etc.) . . .
Whatever it is, you need to know that God was standing at the window and
He saw the whole thing. He has seen your whole life.
He wants you to know that He loves you and that you are forgiven.
He's just wondering how long you will let the devil make a slave of you.
The great thing about God is that when you ask for forgiveness, He not
only forgives you, but He forgets.
It is by God's grace and mercy that we are saved.
Go ahead and make the difference in someone's life today. Share this
with a friend, and always remember:
God is at the window!
When Jesus died on the cross; he was thinking of you!
Hope you have a Great Blessed Day!

Do not be alarmed, but...

I just need to vent!!! Some have heard, but I'm truly frustrated with the same some things are going in my life right now. I am very very unhappy!!! I just wish people would be open with me and come tell exactly whats going on instead of going through others and making side comments about things!! I am one to be assertive and address an issue head on, I understand that not all people are that way, however when you are in charge of something or run a business these are qualities that help the company grow. This may only be me, but COMMUNICATION is KEY to any relationship. Just tell me what is going on, that is all I ask!!!

So there it is!!!

The Dumb Test

I recommend taking it, its quite entertaining. Yes it is annoying at the end to ignore all the ads, but then you get your response and oh the fun :)

Sunday Night

This weekend was busy busy, but good!!! I am now waiting for some yummy pizza while the boys play video games. I get my chance here and there, but then I die and decide that its time for a break. My thumbs are sore now, so I need a break and it makes it hard to type without the thumbs!!! Ill get my chance to show off my yoga skills with the Wii Fit here in a bit!!!

The rest of the weekend was good!!! Even though I lead a training all day on Saturday and then had an hour and a half drive home due to a major wreck on MoPac (very sad situation but very glad no one was killed, apparently, a women driving N on MoPac came across the median and hit an elderly lady in her car, then proceeded to hit another car with a women and her two infant children. One was only 6 weeks old while the other was 20 months. Luckily both babies are ok. At the same time this wreck happened two other major wrecks occurred in the area. I had to turn around and head back North to find another way South!!!). Needless to say that I did not get to spend time with Mace at the Dog Park. I did get to spend some time just hanging out that night.

Sunday was good. Church was great and the sermon fit what has been going for me, which was great. God has such a way about doing that!!! Working with the kids was good as well. Its nice to have new volunteers, it helps with the stress level. However, I was out of comission due to the fact that I had one little sleepy one. For those who know about me working with these kiddos, he is one of the ones who is there every week and comes to all three services due to his parents serving and attending service. He is not one to be quiet, but this week he came in and went into hiding. I found him hiding in the corner. I asked him what was wrong, but he didnt want to chat, he just fell asleep in my arms. Oh so sweet. He was out too, we dont have the space to allow them to sleep, so I had to hold him the entire time and he despite all the moving I did, he never once woke up. Sleeping babies are sooo sweet. Makes me want to have some!!! Yes, thats right I said have some :) The rest of the day was full of errands and just chillin!!! Ok, enough talking now, I know I must have had to bore you, but I so wanted to talk about my precious little angel. Hope you all have a great week and I will see you all soon.

Once this blows over, I will have a better afternoon with my honey and a comedy show!!! Thank goodness for free tickets!!!

If I didnt have a Dog...

If I Didn't Have a Dog.
I could walk around the yard barefoot in safety. My house could be carpeted instead of tiled and laminated. All flat surfaces, clothing, furniture, and cars would be free of hair. When the doorbell rings, it wouldn't sound like a kennel. When the doorbell rings, I could get to the door without wading through fuzzy bodies who beat me there. I could sit on the couch and my bed the way I wanted, without taking into consideration how much space several fur bodies would need to get comfortable. I would have money ....and no guilt to go on a real vacation. I would not be on a first-name basis with 6 veterinarians, as I put their yet unborn grand kids through college. The most used words in my vocabulary would not be: out, sit, down, come, no, stay, and leave him/her/it ALONE. My house would not be cordoned off into zones with baby gates or barriers. My house would not look like a day care center, toys everywhere. My pockets would not contain things like poop bags, treats and an extra leash. I would no longer have to spell the words B-A-L-L, F-R-I-S-B-E- E, W-A-L-K, T-R-E-A-T, B-I-K-E, G-O, R-I-D-E I would not have as many leaves INSIDE my house as outside. I would not look strangely at people who think having ONE dog/cat ties them down too much. I'd look forward to spring and the rainy season instead of dreading "mud" season. I would not have to answer the question "Why do you have so many animals?" from people who will never have the joy in their lives of knowing they are loved unconditionally by someone as close to an angel as they will ever get.
How EMPTY my life would be!

Chi Town

The weekend was great!! Chicago was sunny and there was a WARM front, Chad and I thought it would be nice to bring some warm weather with us. However, the highs were still lower than our lows here!!! We did the tourist thing on Saturday going to Sears tower, Navy Pier, the sports fields, Harry Carrys and exploring downtown. It was kinda chilly, so we did most of the sight seeing from the car, worked for me!! Chad is a big Batman Fan so we went to see some of those sights as well!!! It was neat. The plane rides were good, we were able to see a lot of downtown from the plane as we landed which was pretty cool. Saturday night we went to see mom play in a talent show at church. It was a fund raiser for the youth group and we got to see some fun acts. We also had some FABULOUS Chicago Pizza!!! MMMMMMM, man I wish we had some good stuff like that here!!! We then went home to watch a movie, Babylon...the worst movie ever!!! No plot, no ending and bad acting!!! Dont ever see it!!!!! Sunday was not as eventful as Saturday, we just mainly relaxed and played with the pups. We did watch the game and have some of my dad's ribs, they are sooo yummy!! So we ATE really well this weekend, therefore, I will have to be at the gym everyday!! Thats about all we did. It was great weekend overall. My rents get along well with Chad and Chad likes them, which is a very good thing!!! So all in all, things are looking wonderful and the home front!!!
